Christina Applegate recently spoke publicly for the first time about her Breast Cancer on Good Morning America. The star who became famous after her role as "Kelly" on the sitcom "Married With Children" made the brave decision to undergo a double masectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Applegate's mother was afflicted with breast cancer and because Christina carries the breast cancer gene she did not want to go through the constant battle with the disease. By removing both breasts she is now cancer free and planning on going through breast reconstruction.
